How much will my shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary depending on what you are ordering and what level of service you choose and are calculated at checkout. Here at SewSew we try to keep shipping costs as reasonable as possible and use a standard tracked service, next day delivery, and for some of the smaller items a standard service.
We also offer free UK tracked shipping for all orders over £30!
How do I place an order?
Placing an order could not be easier! Simply click on the item you like, and click “Buy”. These items will then be forwarded to your shopping cart. You can click on “View Cart” at any time to see what you have added.
When finished simply click “Checkout” to begin the checkout process. Please note you will need your credit or debit card details, including the billing address (the address to where the card bills and statements are sent) ready to process the payment.
What payment methods do you accept?
At this time we take all payments through PayPal. PayPal is easy and secure to use and you don't even have to have a PayPal account to use them! Simply follow the on screen instructions and enter your card details when prompted. Please ensure you have adequate funds in your account.
I get an error message when I enter my shipping and billing address. What's going on?
If you are receiving an error message, there may be a problem with your credit card information, billing or shipping address. The billing address should match exactly what your bank has on file. Please review all information closely and look for any typos.
My order wont go through, what shall I do?
Please ensure you have entered all of your details exactly as they appear on your card. One small typing mistake may be the cause of your problem. You also need to make sure that your billing address (where your statements are sent) is correct, as this will be used to validate your details. If however you are sure your details are correct but you are still having troubles, please e-mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will look straight into this for you!
I need to change something on my order or add an item. How can I do that?
If we haven’t yet shipped the order then it may be possible to amend it and we will help where ever we can! To change your order please e-mail us with your order number and details of the amendment(s) you require. We will reply to your e-mail to confirm if the amendment has been possible. Unfortunately, if your order has been shipped it won’t be possible to amend it. Please note orders are usually dispatched within 3 working days unless otherwise stated.
Can I cancel an order?
Of course you can! Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order and obtain a full refund. This is only possible if your order is still processing and has not been dispatched. All order cancelations must be sent to us via e-mail quoting your name, order number and full address. We can then cancel your order and refund you. If however your order has been despatched you will need to return the order to us at your own expense.
Where is my order confirmation?
As soon as place an order, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address you entered on your order. If for some reason, you did not receive an email, please check your spam folder or double check you entered your address properly. If you still have not received it please get in touch so we can confirm that we have received your order.
When will my order be delivered?
We dispatch your order as soon as possible – usually within three working days. Please bare this in mind when opting for next day delivery as it can still take up to three days to dispatch. If you are in need of your order by a certain date, however, please get in touch and let us know before placing your order and we will do whatever we can to help!
If you’re outside of the UK, please allow seven to 18 days for your SewSew goodies to arrive.
My order contains a faulty or incorrect item.
We take every care making and packaging your order, but if on the rare occasion the item you received is not what you originally ordered or is faulty, please e-mail us giving us your name, address and your order number, and lets us know if you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.
Will I have to pay international taxes and duties
SewSew cannot control and is not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages. By law, we must declare all items at their full price and cannot alter this amount to decrease international custom fees.
If you refuse a shipment from SewSew, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to SewSew. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. In the instance, the return fee exceeds the amount of the merchandise plus shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.
